Hollywood sits between Fort Lauderdale and Miami-Dade, running from the beach and the Broadwalk west across US 1 and I-95. Hollywood Lakes and the historic downtown are its older, lower-density areas.

The market is condominium-heavy and the building stock is older than the Broward average, which puts inspection history, reserves and insurance at the front of the conversation. Entry prices are lower than in the beachfront markets to the south, and the range is correspondingly wide.

Much of the rental inventory is inside condominium associations that screen tenants separately from the owner. Budget two to four weeks for that step and confirm the actual timeline before committing to a move-in date.
